Week 2 Blog Post - October 2nd - October 6th

    For my blog this week, I took photos at the Oregon State soccer game against UCLA. The fans packed into Paul Lorenz field on Thursday night to watch the Beavers compete in their first home soccer game since the start of the school year. The Beavs got off to a hot start, taking a 1-0 lead after only 37 seconds thanks to a strike from Fabian Straudi. OSU took a 2-0 lead early into the second half but would ultimately see their lead evaporate courtesy of two UCLA goals in the 60th and 67th minute. The contest was hardly fought until the end, but neither team could ultimately find a deciding goal. 

 



    Oregon State fans were in full voice while supporting the Beavers.

 Week 4 Blog Post - October 16th - October 20th  ------ On the Job ------ Katelyn Birmingham works the register at Starbucks on Saturday afternoon. Katelyn has worked at her Starbucks location for over a year and is a Music major at LBCC. Sam Nichlous takes photos at an OSU soccer game on Sunday afternoon at Paul Lorenz field. Sam is a Digital Communication Arts major at Oregon State University and has been at every home game for the men's soccer team this year.
