Professor Raymund Ocampo (center) works with the alto section of the Chamber Choir to fine tune a part of an upcoming concert song during class on Friday, November 17th. Mr. Ocampo works as the performing arts department chair as well as the director of choral studies at LBCC. While at Linn Benton, Mr. Ocampo has conducted the Chamber Choir to awards in international choir competitions in both Europe and Asia. Recently, Mr. Ocampo was awarded LBCC's Mario and Alma Pastega Excellence in Teaching Award.

The winter concert features multiple pieces with instrumentation as well as performances from LBCC's Concert Band and String Ensemble. Some of the instruments to be featured in the concert include the piano, the violin, the double bass, the electric guitar, the conga drums, the saxophone, the trumpet, and the clarinet.

Professor Raymund Ocampo speaks with both the Chamber Choir and Concert Choir during the last rehearsal on Tuesday, November 28th. The choir performs their last rehearsal in the Russell Tripp Performance Center to gain a better understanding of what the acoustics will be like come concert time. The ensemble runs through their entire setlist with minimal interruptions to give the choir members a feel as to how the concert will flow.

Flynn Cary performs a rendition of "Older," a song made by musician Ben Platt, during the winter concert on Friday, December 1st. Cary performed the song as part of a duet with fellow Chamber Choir member Grace Bender (not pictured). Cary is one of only three choir members to be a part of both Chamber Choir and Concert Choir.

The crowd applauds following a performance of "Healing," an original song created by a student simply known as Morg (center, purple jacket), during the winter concert on Friday, December 1st. Earlier in the concert, Morg had led the audience in a sing-along rendition of "White Christmas" with her guitar. The moment couldn't have been more fitting, considering the theme of the winter concert had been "One Voice."
