Week 5 Blog Post - October 23rd - October 27th  ----- Taylor Moon - Skateboarder -----      Taylor Moon is a recreational skateboarder and resident of Corvallis, Oregon. Born and raised in central Oregon, Taylor moved to Corvallis after graduating high school in 2021. Currently, Taylor lives with four roommates, including his wife, Olivia, and their dog, Milo. Taylor first picked up skateboarding during his sophomore year of high school in 2019. Originally an avid bike rider, Taylor started skateboarding to hang out with his friends at the skatepark. Another reason for switching his bike for his board was due to previous bike crashes. Taylor is also a student at Linn Benton Community College, where he is currently pursuing a degree in criminal justice in hopes of one day becoming a police officer. When Taylor isn't busy with schoolwork or skateboarding, he enjoys camping and playing video games with his friends.

Week 3 Blog Post - October 11th - October 13th  --------    The Road to Reser    --------    A day of football, family, and fun. Many could use these terms following Saturday night's Pac-12 matchup between the Oregon State Beavers and the UCLA Bruins. The home field Beavs did not disappoint during family weekend at OSU, taking home a hard-fought 36-24 victory. Entering the weekend's matchup, both Oregon State and UCLA had gotten off to impressive starts to the season, with the football programs being ranked 15th and 18th, respectively. Following the win, OSU bolsters an impressive 6-1 record on the year and will look to keep up their momentum on October 28th when they take on the Arizona Wildcats. Week 2 Blog Post - October 2nd - October 6th     For my blog this week , I took photos at the Oregon State soccer game against UCLA. The fans packed into Paul Lorenz field on Thursday night to watch the Beavers compete in their first home soccer game since the start of the school year. The Beavs got off to a hot start, taking a 1-0 lead after only 37 seconds thanks to a strike from Fabian Straudi. OSU took a 2-0 lead early into the second half but would ultimately see their lead evaporate courtesy of two UCLA goals in the 60th and 67th minute. The contest was hardly fought until the end, but neither team could ultimately find a deciding goal.         Oregon State fans were in full voice while supporting the Beavers.       Fans leaving Paul Lorenz field on Thursday night following the Beavers 2-2 tie against UCLA.       Arnau Farnos (left) and Fabian Straudi (right) celebrate OSU's opening goal.
